Gotrek & Felix, Book 6.

Fresh from the war in Praag, Gotrek and Felix are thrown into a new adventure when their old friend Ulrika Magdova is abducted. Travelling to the accursed land of Sylvania, the pair face a monstrous vampire intent on claiming Ulrika as his bride.

Listen to it because

It's a classic vampire story, complete with haunted castles, abducted maidens (well, Ulrika) and a powerful creature of the night - but with a typically Warhammer twist, of course!

The story

Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between, and depends entirely upon whom you ask....

Fresh from the siege of Praag, dwarf slayer Gotrek Gurnisson and his sworn human companion Felix Jaeger are beset by a new and terrible foe in their unceasing war against Chaos. A powerful evil is rising in darkest Sylvania, and it threatens to reach forth and tear the very heart out of the Empire - and out of Felix's relationship with Ulrika Magdova. Faced with the machinations of a powerful centuries-old vampire, can the duo's deadly battle result in anything but death and tragedy?

Written by William King. Running time 11 hours 14 minutes. Narrated by Jonathon Keeble.

You get what you expect... perhaps a little less this time. All in all a good read/listen.

It's just like the others, but you already knew that. I'm looking forward to number 7 being recorded.

Another Gotrek & Felix book

The only bad thing about this book is the knowledge of the long wait for the next one when it's finished.

Good stuff.

Love this series and Jonathan Keeble has brought life to the characters with his diverse range of voices. I hope he narrates more.
