Katherine wasn’t looking for anything extraordinary in her life. She had a job she loved, a husband she adored, and a home in the beautiful seaside town of Moonstone Cove. Okay, yes, she worked too much and had fallen out of touch with all her friends, but that happened to everyone, right? And sure, she was feeling a little creaky in the mornings and couldn’t drink coffee after noon, but that was just life in middle age.

Brigid Donovan is down on her luck. Her husband dumped her for the biggest stereotype around, his secretary, and her family mansion is a decaying wreck. All she wants is to get it restored, enjoy the peace and quiet of living in eight hundred acres of primordial forest, and rebuild her life. Fate seems to be against her. First, her cat starts to speak to her. And what does he say? He's not what he seems to be—seriously? Like a talking cat is normal.

The Secret Haven Inn is finally running smoother—if you don’t count the escalating tension with the vampires. Brigid and her friends thought they’d ended the threat, but the vamps have Kilchis’s police force in their pocket… and maybe more. Meanwhile, Brigid’s sworn to help Brightfeather hide her chicks from their royal griffin grandparents. If that secret slips, she’s not just facing a vampire uprising—she’ll have an all-out griffin war on her hands.

Megan's world has shattered. The love of her life is gone, leaving her hollow and consumed by grief. Just when you thought it was safe to go back to sipping merlot... surprise! The Backside of Forty uncorked a peaceful wine-tasting weekend only to be poured into a multi-car pileup in a blizzard. So much for a relaxing girlfriends' getaway... Before you can say "cabernet", Fiona, Violet, and Aislinn stumble upon a corpse buried in the snow, and it's buzzing with that unmistakable eau de supernatural. Turns out, the scenic village is more crime scene than picture postcard, with ritualistic killings that make ordinary weekend plans look downright boring.

Marla figured returning to her small hometown would be the start of a simple life — albeit one with magic. She figured wrong. Magic was part of the deal, but the new role assigned to her wasn’t. What does she know about detecting? Nothing at all, a fact made plainly obvious during her first day on the job. What do a foul-mouthed leprechaun and Spanx have in common? Marla is about to find out....

Buckle up. You're in for a ride! One minute, Stella and I are getting matching BFF tattoos, and the next, I wake up alone on a secluded beach. Not exactly the relaxing getaway I had in mind. As it turns out, I'm on Obsidian Isle, a mystical rock in the middle of nowhere. Magic here? It's a hot mess, like my hormones or my first attempt at a soufflé. But as they say, when life gives you broken magic, you... trek through a jungle to find your best friend! I
