Space Satire

In an alternate America, JFK survived—and didn’t just win the Space Race. He never stopped. Now it’s 1972, and JFK’s ever-expanding space empire is ripping holes in space-time itself—erasing people, places, and entire histories from existence. The only ones who might be able to stop him? Nancy Kranick (Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne), a former moon nurse lying low in Hoboken, New Jersey… and Richard Nixon, tangled in a conspiracy so bizarre it stretches from the Moon to a Shakey’s Pizza to a parallel-universe Watergate.

It’s 1969, and President Kennedy is serving his third term, and is maybe not quite himself—he has pushed America clean off the edge of the Space Age. Nancy Kranick (Emmy nominee Natasha Lyonne) is a night nurse on an orbiting space station who hates her job, is sick of space, and wants nothing more than a safe place to smoke a cigarette that won’t blow everyone up. Then she stumbles into an outer-space conspiracy tangled around President Kennedy, a miserable and long-forgotten estate lawyer named Richard Nixon, and an intergalactic object that could rewrite the course of history.

The 1960s. A world before modern building materials. A world where man only dreamed of space exploration. A world in which everything was made from paper. The intrepid crew of the Good Ship Corrugated set off into the black in search of excitement and adventure. But what they bring back will change our world forever.

Far enough in the future for anything to be conceivable, the ridiculously wealthy and dementia-ridden villain Abraham Goldstein is defrauded by shrewd scientist Jack Brown into funding an implausible "secret" project to travel to heaven and meet God! Against all logic, the machine ends up working, and Abraham finds out the god is dead and that Yahweh, in his suicide letter, was kind enough to leave the schematics for the mind-control chip he used to convince Bronze Age humans he was a god.
