Wicked Awake

Military veteran Jake Hathaway is facing the beginning of a zombie outbreak, one that forces him to take lives and sees him wrongly convicted of murder. As he fights to prove his innocence, he also learns that he unknowingly played a role in the outbreak's origin. The world outside the prison descends into the chaos of a zombie plague. Jake, along with his friends Mack, Duy, and a Belgian Malinois named Roscoe, determine that they must put an end to this Infection Armageddon. What follows is a journey both exciting and horrific.

Years earlier, Marine veteran and former Dallas Police Sergeant Jake Hathaway allowed federal government scientists to conduct top-secret experiments on his soldiers, and on himself. They were given supplements designed to transform them into "Invincible Warriors". Instead, the formula became tainted by some pesky, infectious prions. The result was a virus that transforms exposed humans, some more gradually than others, into frenzied, flesh-eating, cannibalistic zombies!

As Marine veteran Jake Hathaway struggles to clasp his final strands of humanity, his former police partners: Kelvin “Mack” McElroy, a Belgian Malinois K9 named Roscoe, and a petite tattooed blond named Megan Anderson team up with a tall, voluptuous redheaded federal agent named Noreen and a metal core cover band named Four Finger Bitch Slap. Their mission: not only to destroy the creatures, but also to put a plan in place for stopping those persistent in keeping the pandemic percolating.

The people-eaters pandemic continues to build momentum and is running rampant. Marine veteran Jake Hathaway realizes now that he had merely been a pawn in the government’s Zeus Project years earlier. The resulting pandemic was no mistake; rather, it was a planned attack by domestic terrorists disguised as governmental figure heads.

Like malicious puppet masters, those responsible for turning humans into undead beings have one final, despicable plan in place. This sinister scheme would undoubtedly be the end of the America that we once knew. And if successful, other like minded leaders with a similar mindset plan on duplicating the strategy in their own nations.
