The Third Genesis

Under the three moons of Ymir, Emblyn has been anointed by the gods to rid the world of evil at the point of an enchanted sword. An old friend from her childhood, Joel, finds that he cannot rest easily, for dreams of the future haunt him. In those visions, he has seen the Anointed One fall in battle, which he fears will herald the rise of darkness. Out of a sense of duty and love for his old friend, he sets out to warn her of the danger. The problem is, as a crusader, it is Emblyn’s solemn duty to execute anyone who claims they can see the future.

Abaddon has come to the land of Avlo Wydrin. This archon of retribution descends from the heavenly cities, bringing fire and bloodshed to quell the chaos that befell those lands after the Battle of Buckwood. He learns of the deaths of Aeralim, a fellow archon, and Anton, the leader of the local chapter of the Inquisition. With his beloved Rhyparia by his side, he intends to purge the land of all wickedness and rain suffering upon all who defy the false gods.

The struggle continues for those who live, love, fight, toil, and die under the watch of the false gods of Empyrean. Those loyal to the One, who stands above the Liars, plead and hope for the day of The Third Genesis to arrive. Lo'akh, a cunning shapeshifter and master spy, ventures into the treacherous Obsidian Mountains with Hava, the archon he loves, to learn the secrets of his fellow fiends.
