PRELUDES

During the Cold War, while en route across Siberia on the Trans-Mongolian Express, a knucklehead accepts a drinking challenge from a group of Russian soldiers. Their antics take an unexpected twist, which guides them into self-discovery of the true nature of friend and foe.

Allowing enthusiasm to get the better of him, a knucklehead opts to disembark from the Trans Siberian Express in Ulan Batar, Mongolia, in the middle of the Cold War, without a visa. Barely managing to evade imprisonment and extortion from the local officials, a series of unusual adventures unfold, which climax in an unexpected Mongolian Soirée on the eve of his departure.

Arriving in Tel Aviv, without a plan, guidebook, itinerary, or even a place to stay, a knucklehead gets roped into an unexpected chain of events which turns into a pilgrimage of self discovery.

A knucklehead venturing to make the last leg of the Mt. Everest Basecamp trek before sunset, finds himself lost in a blizzard on a glacial moraine in the high Himalaya. As night descends and hopelessness closes in, a quirk of nature miraculously saves him from oblivion.
