Millie Fleur

Garden Glen was afraid of the dark. Each night when the sun went down, all the lights in town turned on. The houses shone like the noon sun. Every house except for Millie Fleur La Fae's, of course. Millie Fleur knows there are enchanting things that can only be glimpsed in the dark. But ever since she moved to Garden Glen, her nighttime friends are nowhere to be found. Determined to welcome the dark back to town, Millie Fleur bakes delicious moon pies and plants a sweet-smelling moon garden.

Garden Glen is a very bland place. Every house and every garden looks exactly like the other. That is... until Millie Fleur La Fae comes to town. Up on a scruffy hill, beside a ramschackle house, Millie Fleur plants her marvelously strange garden, filled with Sneezing Stickyweed, Fanged Fairymoss, and Grumpy Gilliflower. Millie Fleur finds it enchanting, but the townspeople of Garden Glen call it poison! But Millie Fleur is proud of her beloved little garden.

Garden Glen was buzzing with excitement. It was time for the town's annual Butterbloom Fest! Everyone was ready for the most perfect day of the year. Everyone except Millie Fleur La Fae. Instead of waking up bright-eyed and ready to take in everything the fair has to offer, Millie Fleur wakes up with a bad case of the morgenmuffels. Even worse, there's a humbug tangled in her hair!

Autumn has arrived, and the residents of Garden Glen are feeling dreary thinking about the gray months ahead. Lucky for them, Millie Fleur has a plan to bring color back to town. Her unusual pumpkin patch is sure to delight her neighbors.
