London Mafia Bosses

He's powerful, gorgeous, twice my age… and obsessed with me? I might be an innocent runaway, but I’m at my friend’s funeral to avenge her murder by the mafia boss: King. He has other ideas. I should have guessed he’d retaliate with kidnap. Now I'm under his control, still intent on his demise, and honestly so turned on I could cry. When he offers me pleasure, I can't refuse.

I thought my mafia connections were in the past, and I was alone. But powerful mafia boss Sebastian Laurent hasn't forgotten me. On the night I turn twenty-one, our paths collide. He can't drag his eyes from mine. But even when he says I'm in danger, I know being with him is the greatest risk. He wont give up. Kidnapped, I'm held captive in his luxurious home with him for twenty-four hours and he agrees to teach me anything I want.

I didn't know he has been watching me all this time. I had a plan to escape. Everything is going perfectly at my wedding rehearsal dinner until he turns up. The Kingpin. Twenty years older. Dark, dangerous, gorgeous. I was going to get out of this arranged marriage, but he steals me away. I want freedom. He wants me. We make a deal. If I can escape, he'll let me go. If I can't, I'll be his to do with as he likes for twenty-four hours. A thirty second head start and a key.

I watched her. I was patient. Now she's mine to claim. Helping the most dangerous mafia boss in London was a risk, but I didn't expect to see his handsome face everywhere afterwards. I fall asleep to dreams of my escape tomorrow, cupcakes, and the ice blue eyes of my stalker who leaves me presents. I awake to gunshots. A hand over my mouth. In a blur of noise and smoke, he steals me away. The kingpin treats me like a captive princess and I'm conflicted. He's older than me, experienced. It's wrong to desire him and not the freedom I've been planning. So I creep out of the luxurious bedroom.

For six months we repeated this pattern, the attraction shimmering between us, hot and wrong. He kidnapped me. On a lonely night back at home, I wake to the stab of a needle. The last thing I remember is Mr Crosse shooting my attacker and scooping me up. When I come to, I'm trapped with him in his bedroom, and... Oh, ground swallow me I think I confessed my love while out-of-it. Now my ex's dad wont let me leave.

I have an excruciating crush on this man who comes into the coffee shop. Every day. He's older, gorgeous, perfectly dressed. He has a Russian accent and silver eyes. On my last shift, I stop him as he's walking out. Just to say I don't know. I love you, marry me, and let me have your babies? Thanks for the generous tips, have a nice life?

I locked myself in the bathroom when my date pulled out a knife. Then a tall dark rescuer crashed through the door and kidnapped me. I know it's risky, posting my darkest fantasies anonymously online. Especially when they start going viral. But how was I to know the first guy I've ever dated would turn out to be an obsessed stalker-fan? Although I write about wanting a man to force himself upon me, this reality isn't nearly as appealing. It's locked bathroom, panic texting, terrified-for-my-life.

For three years, I’ve been daydreaming excuses to get my gorgeous, older, mysterious neighbor into my apartment. I was thinking of a burst pipe, small cooking fire, dress that I can't zip up, or a massive sign that said “I adore you, please take my V-card”. I didn’t think he’d invite himself in to save me. Mafia thugs came looking for my parents, and money. Hours later, I’m cowering in my wardrobe, still shaking, covered in bruises and dried unthinkable liquids, when soft footsteps echo through my apartment.

At the altar, I silently plead for someone to save me from a marriage I don’t want. And just my luck—nothing happens. Then, when the priest asks if anyone objects to this marriage, the church doors are thrown open, a tall, older man with ice-blue eyes and air of casual wealth and power, stalks in, and says, “I'm taking this.” He carries me out of the church over his shoulder. Kingpin Zane Bethnal might have saved me, but it turns out, I’m in his debt.

The boy from the club seemed nice. He was supposed to give me my first kiss, but instead, I’m in a dark alley, and he and his friends have knives. They rip my clothes, and two of them hold me down as the other undoes his trousers. I’m sobbing, and pleading, and wishing there was someone, anyone to help. Then a tall man with a deep voice, commands, “Stop.” Moments later, I’m covered with their blood, and shaking. My saviour wraps me in his warm suit jacket, and helps me up.

“If I catch you, I’ll own you. Now run.” I see a man in a mask with a grinning mouth and crossed out eyes unalive a man. But the mask slips and I see his face. Gray eyes. A scowl. I run. He catches me, and the next thing I know, the Bratva boss has taken me to his country estate, and I’m his captive. I beg, I plead. But he’s stone. I try to escape, but he anticipates my every move. Finally, he gives me a choice.

He reverse-kidnaps me. Instead of snatching me away, the mafia boss moves into my house. Now he’s renovating to his luxury standards and looking at me like he wants to eat me whole. I nurse the kingpin’s gunshot wound in the hospital, and when I’m done, he asks me to quit, and work for him instead. I refuse, and when he threatens to kidnap me, I point out that’s hardly likely to make me be careful when changing his dressings. I think that’s the end. A heart-pounding encounter with an older, powerful, dangerous man.
