Ear Wax Max

School’s out! But that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the school year for Max and his best friend Sam. It just means that Filmore Middle School is closing because of the Covid-19 flu pandemic. Max will be quarantined at home for “an indefinite amount of time”. Instead of having fun outsmarting the school’s bully, he will be adapting to online classes, crazy family meetings, and using dad's hilarious downstairs toilet.

Summer camp is one of the cruelest tortures parents can inflict on their children. At least that’s how Max feels when he is sent off to Camp Wedgiehaha. For two weeks, he and his best friend, Sam, will be stuck in the middle of the wilderness with Bart Johnson, the bully of Filmore Middle School. They have to find a way to survive swarms of biting insects, practical jokes, and a wedgie war if they are every going return to civilization and their video games again.

On the first day of school, Max’s alarm goes off bright and early. But he is not ready to get back into the routine of a new school year, especially not with all the dangers he has to face. First, he has to get ready and get out the door before Mom hits 10 on her stress-o-meter and goes nuclear. Then, he has to avoid the Tar Pit of Filmore Middle School and the school’s biggest bully Bart Johnson.
