Clearwater Series

What's a dancer to do when life throws her off balance?

Cece Camden has a meticulous life plan, and it's right on track. But on her 29th birthday the plan unravels, and the disciplined former ballerina's life spins out of control.

After losing her job and her boyfriend, Cece escapes to Clearwater, her hometown in California Wine Country, to spend Christmas in the loving embrace of family. But an impulsive decision to help rescue the town's annual production of The Nutcracker complicates everything. The almost-famous ballerina's return attracts attention and provokes embarrassing gossip, fueled by a romantic entanglement with Brad Redmond, Clearwater's most eligible man and the father of her star ballet student.

All Cece wants is to get through the holidays and hightail it back to L.A. But when a long-buried secret is revealed, she's forced to revisit a decision made years prior in the midst of a crisis. Devastated to learn she'd thrown her dream away for all the wrong reasons, she questions everything she thought she understood about family, commitment, and her destiny as a dancer.

With her life in limbo, Cece makes another impetuous decision—because in order to go forward, she first has to go back.
