Stand to!...for a journey into Greg's favorite part of Italy: Self Induglia. Hold on fast, as this is but a stone's throw from Self Loathia. He's qualified to "rock the mike" and is cooler than you - and has all the reasons in the Union to back this up. Listen to him, you might benefit. And if any sticks, it's yours. Free (no extras, no hiddens). Isn't Greg a jolly-good fellow?

Proops in the USO? Yes, kids, it's true. Proops is back from a quick tour of the Middle East where he and his pal Drew Carey entertained the troops. But that doesn't mean he missed the Bush's State of the Union address or the looming axis of evil - Iran, Iraq, and Enron? Speaking of Enron, Proops has some suggestions for the public flogging of former Enron CEO Kenneth Lay - get yer rotten tomatoes in the slingshots and just fire away! Also, Proops offers Britney Spears come career advice.

Ahoy little nippers, and let the Commodore of Crankiness welcome you aboard the hate boat! Set Dick Cheney's defibrillator on stun, and let's get going! First, the Oscars: why we keep getting sucked back into it, why Greg thinks they suck, and why the Golden Globes will always be better. Second, too many stars slow up Traffic, says Greg. Plus, Shakespeare got high and the Blue Man Group. Jump on!

The Year "Never." In this installment, Greg riffs on American Beauty (13 top reasons why the movie "sucks"), doing comedy for the overpriviledged and jaded, Germany's 1932 election, and various and sundry rants on women, abortion, and RU-486.

He's scabrous, he's awful, and he's back in full force to grace us in this new year. Catch up on all the goodies from 2000 with Greg's year in review.

Proops serves up a hearty stew of celebrity quips loaded with chunks of irony for your listening pleasure. Liz Hurley is pregnant and Proops wants to know about celebrity sex. Speaking of sex, Sex in the City is back and, well, Proops will admit it's funny, in spite of Sarah Jessica Parker's terminal case of cuteness. Proops reminds everyone that teens will still be teens, what with Prince William coming of age and smoking jazz cigarettes.

Welcome to the cavern of grumpiness, the source of the bitterness river, where the burning waters never stop whining. That would also be the studio of Greg Proops. Here, not only Teri Garr and Rob Lowe, but additionally, poorly cast movie stars are considered in Greg's review of how the Oscars should be re-vamped. He also touches on the loosening of pot laws in Switzerland, Darwinism as applied to high-risk sportsters, and Timothy McVeigh as martyr to other extremists.

Ready for this week's vitriol? Excellent! For you'll find out about "everyone" who voted for Bush, some of his cabinet positions, and how W's cabinet will, and will not, resemble Reagan's cabinet. Happy Holidays!

Greg Proops: on a cool spring night, he's like tonic water - bitter, and horrible without alcohol. And yet, you won't be able to resist him. Kathie Lee Gifford: she's everything that's right about this country of ours - she's a funhouse mirror, and Greg wants her on television as much as poss. Huh? Spying on China, Britney Spears, and the new Dark Ages according to Greg are also what's up this time on AudibleProops.

Greetings you little rascals! Isn't it hard enough being a teenager these days? Proops wants to discover the drugged up geniuses whose parents force-feed Ritalin. And, speaking of parenting, Madonna doesn't change her babies' diapers AND to add insult to injury, Proops says her new concert sucketh. Finally, recent shark attacks make Proops proud of the garden-variety prehistoric man-eating behavior.

Proops is officially back in the comedic saddle. In spite of his loathing of MTV, he tips his hat to The Osbournes. Ozzy et al have incubated a terrifying new strain of reality television in their abode and, as far as Proops is concerned, a double dose is in order. Proops wonders if you still love your president and if John Ashcroft knows how many Great Lakes there are. Could it be time for the Catholic Church to consider a new charter? And, at last, a great plan to capture Osama bin Laden.

It's a stripped down Audible Proops this week. Just the jokes, Ma'am. Proops' list of things he hates needed some updating, so, starting with the Supreme Court of the United States, the Bush Administration, tax cuts for the wealthy, Britney Spears, New Country, the Catholic Church, Loren Bush, Ariel Sharon, the major TV networks, and, well pretty much everyone else, Proops gets underway. Proops muses on President Bush celebrating Earth Day, Pakistan "re-electing" Musharraf, and much more.

Recently, Proops was shocked to hear new CNN anchor Aaron Brown report the end of ironic wise-guy humor in light of current world events. Proops says, hasn't wise-guy humor carried us this far? Also, with new security measures causing Clint Eastwood to be stopped and searched on a Hollywood set recently, Proops risks heresy to wonder aloud if maybe current security methods aren't going a little too far?

Greg Proops gives his impressions of George W., Clinton as a Republican, and Meg Ryan's terminal case of the "cutes."

Hello interplanetary hedgehogs. It's been a tough week for freedom and Proops greets you from his hometown of San Francisco, where he's still trying to figure out how two little words in a children's nursery rhyme caused so much ire. Proops sends kisses to SCOTUS, also to the ten men who rule the world, the lucky man who dates both Martha Stewart and her daughter, and to George Bush's much discussed nether regions.

Hello gremlins! Proops has a lot on his mind in this episode, including the death of that frisky Pope as well as Terry Schiavo. By the way, Proops notes, the Bush family have a "do not resuscitate" clause in their living will. Plus, contradictions and heavy symbolism abound during Laura Bush's visit to Afghanistan, and CEOs get paid even more when their companies perform badly.

Hello people of the green but gassy orb! There is so much more for Proops to hate in this edition, as Bush cavorts with terrorist-training Saudi princes, indulges in unintentional irony, completely ignores the press at his press conference, and all while Exxon makes 4 million dollars per hour during their biggest quarter ever. How was your year?

Hello post-pope people! In this episode, Proops explains why no-one wants to hear the loser's version of history, and why English isn't the language of diplomacy. Also, serial wife Britney Spears gets her own reality show, Anne Coulter is on the cover of Time magazine, and the Monaco Royals are screwing and dying at a news-worthy rate. Plus, the Pentagon continues to teach us that 'full disclosure' is not just a phrase; it's an empty and meaningless phrase.

Howdy muskrats! How much nonsense will it take before people start burning things to the ground? Is there an imminent threat that isn't government sponsored? What is terror, and what is Katie Holmes doing with Tom Cruise? Proops has all the answers.

Hey there groove chickens. All politicians are scary charlatans, but in a speech at the White House Correspondents Dinner, First Lady Laura Bush revealed that George W. Bush is just an ordinary guy! According to Laura's speech, W apparently doesn't like books, restraint, or subtlety, and once tried to milk a male horse! Plus, Proops explains why that whole Newsweek Koran thing was such a big deal, and gives a nod to teenage mule-lovers from Georgia.
