How do you introduce something so groundbreaking and new, yet also so ancient that it deals with the very first moments of Creation? Most people know about the 22 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, and many have studied a bit of quantum theory. However, one thing has been missing that has to do with the divine language of Eden and the reset back to Eden and beyond.

In this special themed collection, Melvyn Bragg is joined by guest experts including Simon Schaffer, John Gribbin, Jim Al-Khalili and Sir Martin Rees to discuss 25 of the key laws, principles and problems of physics. Here are examinations of major concepts including plasma, radiation, matter and antimatter and the Second Law of Thermodynamics, as well as discourses on historical theories such as Zeno's paradoxes, the speed of light and relativity.

The mice thrived at first. They bred, built social groups, and formed a functioning colony. Then everything fell apart. Males became violent without reason. Females abandoned their young. A group Calhoun called the beautiful ones withdrew completely, spending their days grooming themselves in isolation while their world crumbled around them. Reproduction stopped. Social bonds dissolved. Every single mouse died.
