When Aunt Trudy wins a competition to intern with celebrity chef Colton Spark, she invites Frank and Joe to join her on her trip to the remote Rubble Island off the coast of Maine, where she’ll be helping Colton cook for the prestigious Golden Claw Awards. They’ll be staying at the island’s beautiful Seaspray Inn where the event is being hosted. Still, even before the Hardys reach the island, it becomes clear that the locals are not big fans of Colton.

Aunt Jane takes the Aldens to stay with her friend, Kay, who owns an old, shabby motel in Florida. Kay is ready to sell the motel, when the children offer to help fix it up and put it back in business. But they soon learn that someone is trying to make sure it stays out of business—forever.

Mike and Kate are pumped to watch the Brewers take on the Cubs. But before the first pitch, a new bobblehead of the Brewers' star hitter mysteriously disappears and a frozen custard cone bobblehead pops up in its place!

The zoo is wonderful—it has seals and giraffes and elephants and tigers, and Benny's favorite, a little monkey named Amos. It also has a mystery. Someone is mixing up signs, switching off electricity, and endangering the animals' lives. If the Boxcar Children want to save the animals, they'll have to solve the mystery—and fast!

The Aldens are helping save an old library that's about to be torn down. If they fix it up, it might be given landmark status! But after all their hard work, it's very clear someone is trying to destroy the library. But who?
