No one is shocked by the six-eyed alien strolling around the Universal back lot. The tourists just think he's part of the show. It doesn't take long for Buddy to land a role on a popular TV show, playing (of course) an alien. He becomes an overnight heartthrob and is suddenly faced with legions of adoring fans, rides in glamorous limos, and appearances at "all-the-shrimp-you-can-eat" red carpet parties. Reuse means to use things over again. Like filling up a washable water bottle and using it over again. Recycle means for a used item to be remade. When you recycle plastic bottles, they can be melted down and made into new bottles or into something else. Fun music and engaging lyrics will have young scientists saying “Every Day is Earth Day!”

Did you know that zoology is the study of animals? So, zoologists are people who like to learn more about animals. They like to answer questions about animals by doing research in laboratories, working at zoos, or even observing animals in the wild. If you decide to become a zoologist, you need to decide what kinds of animals interest you most.

Amphibians are cold-blooded like reptiles, have backbones like reptiles and mammals, but are very different. Amphibians do not have any hair or skin scales on their bodies. They can breathe through their skin as well as through their lungs. Most amphibians spend part of their lives in water. Frogs, toads, and salamanders are examples of amphibians.

Lions are meat-eating mammals that like to live in groups or families. A lion's family is called a “pride.” Usually there will be many females that live together along with their cubs, but only one male. Lions like to play and hunt together. Because they have a keen sense of hearing and sight, they often will hunt at night. Usually the females do the hunting. They work in groups to catch their prey. The male lion takes his share of the catch before the females and cubs get any food. Lions are known for their loud, ferocious roar.

Lav is about to start at a new school in Chicago, but his heart is torn between his home and his friends back in Brooklyn. Luckily, the Brooklyn School of Magic, the Brooklyn Under school of Magic, and the Chicago Academy of Magical Arts are all participating in a new initiative to unify all Magic Bearers. Lav is thrilled because he's now able to see Amethyst, in her first semester at the Under School and thriving, and Rose, who seems unsure of how to find her footing during their final year of Elementary Magic, a lot easier and more regularly.
