Until recently, I had no idea that worrying was a waste of time. The only thing it accomplished was annoying me. Like sitting in a rocking chair all day, worrying keeps you busy, but you accomplish nothing. Ultimately, you're still seated in the same position you were when you began. It was never God's intention for us to live a life of anxiety and tension. Our trust in God means that there is absolutely no need for us to be anxious about anything.
