On his very first visit to America, motorcycle traveller Lawrence Bransby embarks on a journey that will take him from Southern California to the northernmost points of both Alaska and Canada then back across the USA to Texas. Along the way he has numerous adventures, meets people, has an accident somewhere above the Arctic Circle and, in the process, attempts to understand a little of what it means to be American. This book is about examining the possible reasons behind the vortex claims. Is it simply to attract tourist to visit the area? Is it real? What kind of scientific evidence is there for these claims? Is it physiological and simply just the power of suggestion? I am going to approach this subject with an open mind. Examining the geology, magnetism measurements, topography, physiology, and yes even the financial gain to the Sedona area for giving tourist claims of the vortex.
