Magic is back to the modern world, and the real battle for the world's future has just begun. Brenda and Valor opened the Time Gateway and saved the elvish people. Three months later, their settlement in Arizona is thriving, but magic remains fragile and weak. To restore it fully, they must embark on a new quest: journey to the depths of the dwarf kingdoms, find a dwarf prince, and ally with a powerful fairy to forge a band that will change the world as we know it. The future of the world depends on their success.

Odysseus begins where Homer's Odyssey leaves off and recounts the eponymous Greek hero's final quest to settle his debt with the god Poseidon. He must travel to many cities carrying a wooden oar, find a land that knows no salt, and offer a sacrifice to the god on the site where a stranger asks the purpose of the oar. During his perilous journey, he becomes involved in the intrigues swirling among the great Trojan War veterans and their heirs and must also protect his own family and kingdom.
