The year is 1521, and Tenochtitlán burns. Wracked by plague and war, the majestic Aztec empire begins to crumble. Meanwhile, in the modern day, a string of high-profile robberies lays waste to archaeological sites and museums across Mesoamerica, overshadowed by a brewing nationalistic fervor which threatens to topple already fragile countries.

Nació aproximadamente en 1500. Gobernó de enero 25 de 1521 a agosto 13 de 1521.Tras la matanza del Templo Mayor, la batalla en la noche de la huida de los españoles, la epidemia de la viruela y la muerte del tlatoani Cuitláhuac, la nobleza mexica se redujo, por ende las probabilidades de que Cuauhtémoc fuera electo crecieron de manera inimaginable, incluso para él mismo.
