Margo's Auntie May is nominated for a prestigious award at the Mysteries USA Convention at the Hartford Hilton, so she reluctantly attends the opening night reception with Margo and Kate. By the next day, the sudden death of a publishing colleague has overshadowed the proceedings. The mystery deepens when May receives a letter from the victim, leaving her the rights to an unpublished manuscript from a best-selling author, now deceased, and giving her coded clues about where to find it.

As dawn breaks, the pale body of a beautiful, raven-haired young woman is discovered in an errant swan boat, adrift on a small lake, smack in the middle of a jewel-like park in Downtown Orlando. It looks like a suicide, Snow White in a fractured fairy tale. Body-language expert Julie O'Hara, isn't buying it. And that's a BIG problem, since Julie is the one person most likely to figure it out.
