This story will have you captivated from it’s start to the very end. In this script-converted novel, I’m expanding the yellow brick road journey by adding a few forks in the road. In, “The Big PayBack”, we endeavor to find out why there are six white sheets laying on the floor in the front pulpit of The Sanctuary of Holiness Church and how these six lives are tragically connected.

Stella's world was one of misery and despair, wandering the streets of Victoria, BC, cold, wet and hungry. She had adapted to street-life, but on most days, she would rather be dead. Living amongst the nameless, faceless and placeless tribe of the homeless, Stella's very existence depended on the generosity of strangers. She never spoke of her past, determined to keep her life-story a secret. Faced with constant hunger, Stella begged and pushed her trolley filled with junk, trying to remain invisible as she moved from alcove to park bench and back again, clinging to anonymity.

Evil lurks in Edinsville. Stella McIntyre, may have made some questionable choices, but she didn't deserve what happened to her. Pregnant, alone, and without a home, her challenges seem insurmountable. When she comes to the end of herself, there is only one place left to turn.
