This book is for everyone who has a father. And for all those who know what it's like to long for a father's blessing: his approval, affection, and attention. It's for anyone who's ever longed to hear your dad say, "I love you. I'm so proud of you." You may already know what it's like to live in the rays of such a blessing, to flourish in the marvelous light of a father's love. Yet, in this "fatherless generation", it's also likely you've never known the blessing of your earthly dad.

Though this verse is widely known throughout the world, it still remains misunderstood by most that encounter it. From Billy Graham to Andrew Carnegie, faith has been a highly controversial, yet inescapable concern that has been addressed by most of the people that we revere till this day. Because of faith’s importance to everyday life and monumental success, I (Augustus V.) have had it on my heart to deal with the matter for quite some time, not for others to only know about it, but to perfect it.

We are creatures of time. It affects every moment of our lives. Yet when we study the bible, our focus tends to be on principles and personalities rather than on how the events of redemptive history were perfectly timed by God. Since my own study of the bible's timeline opened my eyes to some of God's biggest truths, my goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the rich experience of studying scripture with a focus on God's timing.
