I know her as the unconscious girl I found bleeding out on the locker room floor. I got her help. I saved her life. The next time I see her, she makes it clear she wants nothing to do with me. Too bad. I didn't go through the trouble of saving her life just for her to throw it away again. She doesn't know it yet but I'm about to be her new best friend.

Noah. I need a fresh start, and Foggy Basin, California, is the perfect place to begin my new life. The accepting small town is such a contrast to the large town I came from. Making a success of my dog-training business—Tricks, Tips, and Backflips—is important to me, and I totally lucked out when my straight best friend, Christian, decided to move with me. He makes my life easier. I just hope he'll be as happy here as I am. Christian. Following my best friend to Foggy Basin was a no-brainer. I’ve been in love with him since we were five years old.

Christian and I have spent holidays together since we were kids, but now we're married, I need this Christmas to be extra special. Whatever I plan has to show him how much it means to celebrate as husbands. I've no clue how to do that, but we have a great lot of memories together, a house full of very special rescue pets, and I'm willing to be creative. Noah’s Holiday is a 8k short story about best friends in love, their menagerie of pets, a meddling senior citizen, and Foggy Basin —the small town they now call home.
