Green’s Mill Campground was a favorite vacation spot for the Slusser family. The campground and bridge were at the lower end of Little Niangua River. As the river flows east, it dumps into the Lake of the Ozarks. Momma and daddy always reserved their favorite campsite on top of a little knoll where there was a good view of the bridge and river. They called their knoll “Slusser Hill.”
