As a main type of freedom of speech, motivational speaking gives much to humanity, yet we ought not consume motivational speaking uncritically. Thus this work reflects upon the nature of motivational speaking so we may keep what rocks and leave behind what sucks. Hopefully, we shall achieve the best possible life in the process.

Motivational speaking has inspired humanity to achieve its greatest accomplishments. Yet motivational speaking does promote some false and even dangerous ideas. Thus this audiobook aims to kick down the false and dangerous ideas, so only the virtuous, empowering, and wise ideas of motivational speaking reign.

Taut free verse tells the little-known story of the first contraband camp of the Civil War - seen by some historians as the "beginning of the end of slavery in America". One night in 1861, three escaped slaves made their way from the Confederate line to a Union-held fort. The runaways were declared "contraband of war" and granted protection. As word spread, thousands of runaway slaves poured into the fort, seeking their freedom. These "contrabands" made a home for themselves, building the first African American community in the country.

Textured with the sights and sounds of growing up in East New York in the nineties, to school on the South Side of Chicago, all the way to the olive groves of Palestine, My Mother Is a Freedom Fighter is Aja Monet's ode to mothers, daughters, and sisters—the tiny gods who fight to change the world. These stunning poems tackle racism, sexism, genocide, displacement, heartbreak, and grief, but also love, motherhood, spirituality, and Black joy.

Courageous, intimate and raw, Wrestling with Freedom deftly expresses the struggles of living consciously in dark times and tunes us to that elusive inner voice promising us a more hopeful tomorrow. It’s a book that will touch deeply, resonating with all who have felt their own dreams shipwrecked upon the jagged realities of our present world.

Tammy Henson has been in the fire of trials, battling for freedom from her past and her generational line. It has been a journey of cutting ties, breaking ties in the soul, and renouncing contracts and agreements. It involved going to heaven's court to remove and dismantle powers that had a hold on her mind and her soul and receiving revelation on her ancestor's sins to break the curses that have been in her blood line for generations.

My prayer for those listening to this book is they find a deeper, more meaningful relationship in their walks with God. That they find that God speaks, Jesus speaks, and the Holy Spirit Speaks also. Not only can we have a relationship with God the Father, we can have a relationship with Jesus the Son, a relationship with the Holy Spirit as well. The Trinity lives within us to develop. My Prayer for those listening to this book is they will walk with God during the cool of the day, as they say Grace for passing bread and before laying down, praying our soul to keep during our sleep.

In There's Freedom in the Pen comes this poetic reminder of transparency. There is something for everybody in her life's tale of loss, deception, disappointment, addiction, seduction, love, and spiritual uncertainty. When her pen brings freedom to all you have been thinking, you're hooked. Transparency is where her story unfolds.

The First Amendment radiates from heaven, and one of its rays, freedom of assembly, shines down a rainbow of blessings; thus this book exalts freedom of assembly to inspire humanity to live the best.

In this collection, you’ll find stories conveyed through poetry and song. Some of them will no doubt be familiar to you - like Francis Scott Key’s Star Spangled Banner and Julia Ward Howe’s Battle Hymn of the Republic (although many people are only familiar with the first verse). Other poems will be entirely new to you. My hope is that you’ll embrace both the familiar and the unfamiliar as pieces of the American story that deserve to be remembered.
