In the neon-colored capital planet of Chigu, Karel enters the school believing she has to prove the worthiness of humans to the empire as a whole. However, just as we all think of ourselves as the “main character” of the universe, Karel is not the only new student dealing with this life changing transition.

It has been over a year since the last big mystery was solved, and now with the two clubs joined together, everything should be smooth sailing. Hormonal teenagers with access to social pressure, relationship drama and laser rifles? What could go wrong! At least one thing.

This is the story of Normal Kint, who is on the run from his wife's wrath after selling her dog, Ringo, to a Martian. The Martians love dogs – as a delicacy. Normal hopes to lie low till his wife's anger has cooled down. But there is no escape for him. Apparently, Ringo is not your average dog, he carries an important secret. Now, everybody (but not their dog) wants Ringo – and Normal. Will Normal's wife forgive him? Who are the people after Ringo? What do they want? And what lengths will they go to get what they want?

In the neon-colored capital planet of Chigu, the Detective and Mystery Club are facing their greatest threat yet: the Mystery and Detective Club! These new rivals will force our crew to fix their own personal issues, work together as a team, and maybe discover that no one is what they seem on the surface. Love, intrigue, mystery, and space cats! What more could you ask for! Oh, and homework too. These empires are not going to conquer the stars by themselves, after all!

It is tricky enough being in the first freshmen class of humans in a post-intergraded galactic military high school, but Karel must work to push past cultural prejudice (others, as well as her own) in order to solve the attempted assassination of her new principal. And there is a space dog. Because space dogs are awesome. No, you stop making up sci-fi animals!

It sounds like the easiest mission ever: Go to Earth (you know, the blue planet in the middle of nowhere). Sell hot dogs. Record interactions with human beings using the loop recorder in his brain. Unfortunately, humans refuse to buy Charlie’s hot dogs at the corner of Bay and College Street in downtown Toronto, Canada, North America, Earth. They prefer Earl’s Dogs, the cart across the street.
