Naming Darwin's Black Box to the National Review's list of the 100 most important nonfiction works of the 20th century, George Gilder wrote that it "overthrows Darwin at the end of the 20th century in the same way that quantum theory overthrew Newton at the beginning". Discussing the book in the New Yorker in May 2005, H. Allen Orr said of Behe, "He is the most prominent of the small circle of scientists working on intelligent design, and his arguments are by far the best known."

Most of us have been trained by schools and universities as to what scientific and historical truths are supposed to be. However, I maintain that much of what science and history teaches us is in error because the proponents of different points of view have too narrow an understanding of the truth that reality presents.

The real nature of time is still a mystery, even after thousands of years of philosophers and scientists analyzing it and proposing theories about it. Prophecy has existed for most of humanity’s time on Earth, and there is a lot of reason to think that seeing the future does reveal some of what happens and is about to happen. I also wrote two books on this subject, including the history of prophecy and my own experiences.
