Story0
Christine Daae was brought up in the Paris Opera house. Her musician father suddenly dies, telling her he will send her an angel of music to look after her. She grows up and discovers that she is hearing a voice, telling her and teaching her to sing. She believes he is the angel of music but he is known in the Opera House simply as The Phantom. Although she is fascinated and drawn towards the phantom, she falls in love with her childhood sweetheart, The Vicomte de Chagny - or Raoul - but the Phantom won't take this lightly... (Summary by Ralph Snelson)

Story0
A job as a deckhand on a shark fishing boat in Bass Strait for law student Chris Howse, begets a quest to keep a journal of his dreams as a way of exploring who he is and what he should do and as an antidote to a seemingly lazy zeitgeist. Via the shark boats, the occupation of a barrister at the Victorian Bar and work as a tram conductor in Melbourne (in that order), his dreams lead him to the heart of Aboriginal Australia at the Katherine Regional Aboriginal Legal Aid Service and subsequently to Darwin and the bush courts of the Northern Territory, acting on behalf of the Aboriginal people.

Story0
Adored by battalions of devotees and maligned by others for melodramatic twists and turns, soap operas have had an outsized impact on American culture, prefiguring the rise of today's reality television and character-driven prestige dramas. In Love in the Afternoon, and Evening, cultural critics Charlotte Druckman and Mayukh Sen salute the stories and talent that have sustained the industry since its radio days. Featured are smart yet dishy interviews with soap icons like Susan Lucci (All My Children's Erica Kane) and Erika Slezak (One Life to Live's Victoria Lord)…

Story1

Story0
Music, and more particularly singing is always with us. A certain day we may find ourselves moody and with a melody from La forza del destino playing over and over again in our head. Or maybe we feel like a superhero as we've doing great at work and then we feel like Calaf solving the 3 riddles that Turandot has proposed. First, we would like to share that this is not a place for the platitudes that are everywhere, telling my favorite singer is always the greatest in everything he's sung; and at the same time, we avoid being one of those toxic places where there's endless criticism around the ...
