There was A LOT to unpack on AEW Dynamite this week! Ilja Dragunov makes his shocking AEW debut, the Young Bucks get absolutely squashed despite being the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and I'm left wondering what exactly AEW is doing with Will Ospreay. And then there's Blood & Guts. Are we rushing into one of AEW's biggest matches without giving the story enough time to develop? Here's the thing: I actually enjoyed this episode of AEW Dynamite! There was plenty of good wrestling, some big surprises, and a lot worth talking about. But just because I liked the show doesn't mean I don't have questions about some of these booking decisions. In this October 21, 2026 AEW Dynamite review, we're breaking down the surprises, questionable creative choices, and everything else that stood out. Did AEW deliver a great episode of Dynamite, or are some of these stories moving too quickly? Let me know what you thought in the comments! #AEWDynamite #IljaDragunov #AEW #WillOspreay #WrestleChop

Did WWE waste John Cena’s retirement match—and the momentum Gunther should’ve gained from it? We’re talking Gunther’s booking, Ilja Dragunov’s comments on The Ariel Helwani Show, and the wrestling stories you might’ve missed. Plus, Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns 3 actually happened… sort of! Their rock-paper-scissors showdown promoting Street Fighter gave their rivalry a very different third chapter. We’re also getting into Bayley’s return to Big Time Wrestling, where she became a special guest referee and helped cost her ex-fiancé Aaron Solo his match; The Great Khali’s Netflix India photoshoot; and the viral AI-generated photo of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson that fooled fans. A little news, a few unexpected moments, and plenty of honest wrestling hot takes. Has WWE done enough with Gunther since he retired Cena? Which story deserves more attention? Let me know in the comments, and subscribe for more WWE discussion, reviews, and watch parties. #WWE #Gunther #RomanReigns #CodyRhodes #JohnCena
