Do you long for time to spend with Jesus? Have you found yourself needing a hug from your husband, so you feel wanted? Do you feel guilty wishing there was more to your life than wiping noses and doing dishes? Are you drowning in the responsibilities of just being Mom? Do you wonder why your pre-mom routines are no longer working?

I am so excited that you are here! This podcast will help find peace with the time you do have, start rebuilding routines you need to stay sane, invite you to see yourself how God sees you, and find joy in motherhood.
Hi, I’m Cheryl! Wife, SAHM of two girls, Mom Mentor and Jesus follower. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman.
I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do.
I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become.
I had to rediscover my identity, prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed.
If you’re ready to ditch the mom guilt for peace, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you.
Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.

  • 121 | Overwhelmed, Mama? 3 Questions to Find Peace
    Oct 23 2026

Do you look at your life and get overwhelmed by the tasks, obligations, and noise that seem inescapable?

Have you tried to reduce the "clutter" in your life, but end up giving up and scrolling instead?

Are you looking for a simplified life, but don't know where to start?

If so, you’re in the right place.

Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. I learned the not‑so‑secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, building simple routines that supported my priorities, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self‑esteem and self‑worth really look like in everyday motherhood. In Time for Mom, we have honest conversations about comparison, practical devotional moments, and encouragement you can tuck into the cracks of your day. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity, and love yourself the way your babies already do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom.

In this episode, I’m sharing some spiritual lessons I learned from purging my children's room so you can reorganize your priorities and find peace in the day-to-day chaos.

Chaos often comes from too many competing priorities, not just too much to do.

3 questions you can ask yourself before committing your time and energy:

    • Is this one of my priorities?
    • Is it truly urgent?
    • Does it have eternal value?

What gets your attention shapes your heart.

You don't have to say yes to everything.

Guarding your heart is part of leading your family.

Do you wonder why some things just don't work until you give that area up in your life to God? Are you tired of fighting to hold your life together and just want to know what the end result is going to be? If so, you’re in the right place. Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity, and love yourself the way your babies already do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom. In this episode, I’m sharing why the seasons that feel like they’re tearing your life apart may actually be the very places where God is doing His deepest work, so you can trust Him with the pieces you don’t yet understand. God often works through a process of "unmaking" before remaking us. Spiritual transformation is ongoing, not instant. Refinement can be painful but is a necessary part of growth. God sees the finished masterpiece even when we don't, so submit to becoming a finished work of art. Nothing in our lives is wasted by God.
