  • One More Mile? Burnout, Peptides and Longevity With Ray Schloss
    Nov 1 2026

Is one more mile always a good thing? In this episode, I sit down with Ray Schloss to talk about burnout, peptides and longevity, and why the drive that gets you through a marathon can keep you in the wrong job or relationship far longer than you should stay.

Ray spent 17 years at Microsoft, leading a global community of more than 1,200 consultants and managers, before burnout led him to retire in 2024. After long COVID and mould exposure left his energy at rock bottom for years, he rebuilt his health and founded Thriving 247, where he now coaches people on longevity and wellness. He's also a certified hypnotherapist and produces meditation music for the Monroe Institute and BrainTap.

    We get into:

    • Losing two houses on a failed startup, and how it led him to Microsoft
    • The night in Milan that taught him to enjoy life again
    • Corporate burnout and the cost of standing up for what's right
    • Long COVID, mould exposure and getting his energy back
    • Peptides explained simply, and why GLP-1 weight loss can cost you muscle without resistance training
    • Spotting opportunities, being willing to fail, and knowing when to stop pushing
    • A simple way to start meditating, even if you think you can't

For me, the biggest takeaway was this: being able to push through is a strength, until it isn't. Learning when to say "enough is enough" might be the most important skill of all.

Ray shares his own experience in this episode. It isn't medical advice. Some peptides discussed are not approved for human use, so please talk to a qualified healthcare provider before starting any peptide, hormone or GLP-1 therapy.

  • Stop Adding, Start Listening: Healing From Burnout With Kristen Renee
    Oct 26 2026

Healing burnout doesn't always mean adding another protocol. Sometimes it starts when you stop adding and start listening. In this episode, I sit down with Kristen Renee to talk burnout recovery, the mind-body connection and learning to listen to your body.

Kristen is a wellness author and transformational guide. She spent years in a high-pressure corporate career in the San Francisco Bay Area, trying to be perfect at everything: work, running, her home and her social life. Then an autoimmune diagnosis stopped her in her tracks. She spent the next decade trying every diet, protocol and specialist before she started looking at how her stress, thoughts and lifestyle were all connected.

    We get into:

    • Why so many high performers keep adding more instead of slowing down
    • What happens when your identity is built around being "the athlete" and your body stops cooperating
    • Letting go of the old story without blowing up your whole life
    • How the words you use about yourself and your body shape what you believe
    • Healing your relationship with money and turning a passion into income
    • Giving yourself permission to take a risk and change direction

For me, the biggest takeaway was this: more isn't always the answer. Sometimes the work is slowing down enough to hear what your body has been trying to tell you.

Kristen shares her own experience in this episode. It isn't medical advice, so please talk to your healthcare provider about your own health.

  • The Self-Improvement Trap: Why More Learning Isn’t the Answer With Corbin Bruckshaw
    Oct 4 2026

You know what you want to change. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts and made the plans, but taking action still feels hard. So what’s getting in the way?

In this episode of The True Form Podcast, I sit down with behavioural coach and Let’s Get Human founder Corbin Bruckshaw to explore the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

We talk about values, identity, self-sabotage and the pressure to chase goals that might not be our own. Corbin also opens up about how his fear of getting things wrong held him back, despite spending years learning about the very things he wanted to help others with.

One of my favourite parts of this conversation is the shift from asking what we want to looking at how we’re actually living. We explore space, time, energy and money as starting points for that reflection, then bring it back to practical examples of getting started in the gym, in business and in everyday life.

    - Values and motivation: Looking beyond the goals we think we should want.
    - The self-improvement trap: When learning more becomes a way of delaying action.
    - Fear and confidence: Corbin’s experience of waiting to feel ready.
    - Habits and identity: Starting small and following through on manageable commitments.
    - Mentorship and comparison: Learning from others without expecting your day one to look like their year ten.

If you’ve been waiting to feel more confident, more prepared or more certain before you begin, I hope this conversation gives you something useful to reflect on and put into practice.
