Welcome to the Tank Commander Podcast, hosted by Jeffrey Pidlaoan and Noah Sharp! Just like the players we'll be covering, this is an up-and-coming NBA and Dynasty Fantasy podcast focusing on the newest players in the NBA, ranging from prospects about to enter the league in the incoming drafts, to the young rookies and sophomores who are making their way and ascending into stardom or at least a long career in the league.

We are two dynasty tank commanders with the youngest teams in our league and highest picks in our rookie draft who keep falling for the youth movement. We focus on these young players because we love following their journey and seeing how their tools and abilities help them make it to the next level, or even change the NBA itself. In this podcast, we combine our scouting eyes along with our fantasy skills, to provide ongoing young player coverage throughout the year: from the draft to summer league, to the mid-season doldrums, to the playoffs, and all the way back to draft season over again.

Whether it's the first or second year players adapting to the league and evolving past what anyone could have predicted, to the draft prospects that will make even the most old man fantasy squad want to send their team deep into tank mode, the Tank Commander Podcast is your best bet to get year-round insights on the future of the NBA.

    We review TWO rookie drafts that occurred in our ongoing dynasty leagues: our legendary, long-running home league that spans three continents, and of course the Old Man Squad Dynasty League. The format for both is 12 team 9-cat, two rounds each, followed by waivers during the season.

    Recommendations:

    Noah - Taiwan Beer, not just the beer from Taiwan in general, but the brand Taiwan Beer. Seen everywhere throughout Taiwan, and especially worthwhile is the local-only 18 Day draft beer, with a strict 18-day shelf life.

    Our Mock Draft is finally here! This time, we got our friends On Ball Creator AKA Jeremy and THE Corban Ford to help us out. Part 2 is picks 17-30, and we get a little more unhinged...


    The format:

    We take turns acting as each team's Team President/General Manager. The others will act as assistant GMs/scouts and pitch their players to the Team President who ultimately makes the final choice. Then we change teams and change roles as Team Presidents. Rinse and repeat until we get to 30 at the end of the first round.
