  • A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Season 1, Episode 5, "In The Name of the Mother"
    Feb 16 2026

This week, Da7e and Neil return to Westeros after a long night away for the gut-wrenching, goopy penultimate episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

In The Calm [05:02], they discuss the season's climactic moments and how it stacks up against previous Westeros shockers. They also consider who is to blame for what happened, whether the flashbacks were the right adaptation choice, and what it all has to do with the Blackfyre Rebellion.

Then in The Storm [01:01:10], they look ahead to the season finale and where the show may diverge from the books before addressing some of the press tour spoilers being dropped by the show's lead actors.

Next week, the season finale of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms! Your faithful hosts return to your feeds on Monday to discuss episode six, "The Morrow," and look ahead to what we can expect from season two.

  • A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Season 1, Episode 4, "Seven"
    Feb 7 2026

This week, Da7e and Neil are in your feeds early because HBO dropped episode 4 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on Friday to avoid the Superb Owl.

In The Calm [05:30], they discuss what happens when Ser Duncan the Tall is forced to face the music for disrespecting House Targaryen. They break down the rules of a Trial of Seven, discuss the team compositions, and consider the kingdom-wide implications of the episode's final moments.

Then in The Storm [01:04:48], they dig into the reliability of dragon dreaming and look ahead to how this show will navigate its climactic penultimate episode.

The week after next, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms returns after 9 days between episodes with its fifth and penultimate episode of the season, "In The Name of the Mother," which means that your faithful hosts will be back in your feeds on Monday, February 17th.

  • A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Season 1, Episode 3, "The Squire"
    Feb 2 2026
This week, Da7e and Neil are hungry for bacon and egg sandwiches as Dunk and Egg get into more trouble than you'd expect from a 30-minute episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

In The Calm [05:18], your faithful hosts kick things off with several very important lore corrections from last week's pod. Then they discuss this week's big reveal, the tonal shift signaled by the closing credits music, and the effective deployment of the Save the Cat Horse trope.

Then in The Storm [01:03:34], Neil puts on his fortune teller cloak to unpack all the lore connections hinted at in this episode. And Da7e makes bold predictions about who may stand with Dunk now that he's in a bit of hot water. Plus, a bold claim is made about how this first season will be remembered...

Next week, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms drops its fourth episode early (on Friday, February 6) because of something called the Superb Owl, which means that A Storm of Spoilers will be in your feeds on Saturday.
