I love this podcast. all throughout my life I've never met anyone who has watched Buffy or loved it as much as me and finally I feel like I have people now. even though I can't talk to you but this makes me feel like I'm watching it with my mates.

I'm rewatching the show and then listening to the podcast. I love it. keep up the good work.

Finally a Buffy friend

Season 1 started off really well, I was keen for every Monday and a new episode.

But now the episodes are being treated as trivial. The hosts are entirely hypocritical (standing up against the patriarchal elements, but then branding background female characters as 'tramps' to fit their own ridiculous narrative).

The dramatic and incredible moments of the show are watered down by the hosts pettiness, and the constant 'host 1 tells a joke', 'host 2 re-words that joke' 'then host 1 re-words it a third time' is cringy.

This podcast had a good premise, but unfortunately reveals a lot more about the hosts, than the subject.

Disappointing

I used to love this podcast in the beginning but ended up switching to another Buffy Podcast that was more upbeat and impartial in its analysis. This podcast assassinates Angel's character repeatedly from Season 2 onwards. It becomes a character bash, coming across as biased and personal. This is especially evident later on in Season 5 when Spike's flaws are being glazed over or put down to 'bad writing'.

Ultimately I think that the hosts should have considered the audience and fanbase who are varied in opinions and are consuming this content in order to enjoy the show again in a new way. A fairer analysis of each character and a respect for different viewpoints would have gone a long way in making this podcast enjoyable for everyone. This is unfortunately pidgeon holed for fans who abhor Angel and love Spike while also being Spuffy shippers.

Too much Angel Bashing
