On this episode of the ROCPOD, Cam and The Beast analyze Miami's close call against UNC. The pass defense continues to play subpar football, but a combination of issues has hurt the Canes in stopping the pass. Mario Cristobal cited three areas where the pass defense needs improvement, and we discuss them.

Miami is still undefeated at 8-0 and undefeated on the road in ACC play for the first time since joining the conference.

We give props to guys like Darian Mensah, who had a great day, as well as Malachi Toney, Mark Fletcher, Elijah Lofton, and others. Fletcher is now the total TD leader in UM history, and he is not done yet.

Lastly, The Beast brings up an interesting question: Should our expectations change in the era of parity, NIL, and a 24-team playoff?

On this episode of the Real Ones Canes Podcast, Cam and The Beast dive into some of the issues that Miami has to clean up as they head to Chapel Hill to face the Tar Heels, coached by the guy who won a bunch of Super Bowls (Cam won't say his name).

The interior of the O-line is still a work in progress, and the secondary is giving up too many big plays. Stuff like this will hurt Miami down the line. We still believe Miami is the best team in the country, but they have not played their best game yet.

Segment two brings us to the Heisman campaign launched by The U for both Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney. You can watch that video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RhYwPt2kk4

The Miami Hurricanes dominated Pitt at Hard Rock Stadium. Darian, Mali, Javion and the bunch made Pitt regret even stepping off of the airplane at MIA, and they left points on the board. It was't a perfect win though, as ten penalties, a sub-par pass rush from the front four, and more bad angles taken by members of the secondary give Mario Cristobal and the coaching staff plenty to stress in practice this week.

Malachi Toney's stats are redonkulous. Wait till you see how he is doing compared to his stats last year. It's unbelievable what he is doing.

The national media mostly believes in Miami as being the number one team in the nation, but there are some that believe they should not be the top dog. We discuss that and more.
