• Why I Own What The Government Cannot Print
    Oct 24 2026
Get your tickets for the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference, January 24–25, 2027: https://vricmedia.com Imagine borrowing money and picking your own interest rate. Not the bank. You. A government that owes $40 trillion and paid more than $1 trillion in interest this year, more than it spent on its entire military, would pick a low rate every single time. There is a tool that lets it. The central bank announces a ceiling on the ten-year rate and buys every bond it takes to hold it there, paying with dollars that did not exist the day before. America ran this machine from 1942 to 1951. Japan ran it from 2016 to 2024 and ended up owning half its own bond market. Cheaper mortgages are the part they advertise. The part they do not advertise is who pays, and it is not the government. One thing has always sat outside the machine's reach. Learn to invest alongside the top minds in commodities. • America's AI Giants Have No Moat — And China Knows It
    Oct 19 2026
On September 12, the head of one of the most valuable companies in the world asked his own industry to slow down. Sixteen days later, Reuters reported his company was preparing to go public at a valuation above $2 trillion, with a prospectus that spends 80 of its 261 pages on risk, including the risk that its product threatens human survival. The official story is public safety. Companies do not warn that a product could end the world and plan to sell shares in it the same month without a reason. The reason is a missing moat. Customers who can switch AI providers in an afternoon are switching, prices are falling, and a free Chinese model took first place on the coding leaderboard in July. America has seen an industry face this problem before. The railroads wrote the playbook in 1935. Everyone else paid the bill. • October 28th: The Day Iran Breaks the Bond Market
    Oct 5 2026
On September 16, the day the Federal Reserve raised interest rates for the first time since 2023, the speaker of Iran's parliament posted a math equation. It was the formula American central bankers use to set interest rates, with two new terms added, each named after a waterway that Iran and its allies can close. It looked like a joke. One week later, diesel hit $6.53 a gallon, the highest price ever recorded in the United States. The equation was a claim: whoever controls the price of oil controls the price of money in America, from a family's mortgage to the interest on $40 trillion of government debt. Washington has an answer, and it is not cheaper oil. Both sides want crude expensive, for opposite reasons. Only one of them needs it to last. The Fed's next decision is October 28. • America vs. Europe: Which is Canada's future partner?
    Sep 28 2026
On August 22, Canada walked out of trade talks with the United States, and tariffs of 50 percent took effect on billions of dollars of Canadian goods. The official story is that Washington asked for too much and offered too little. The final demand tells the real story: the Americans asked for a say over which countries Canada could sign trade deals with. Ottawa has faced this exact choice before. In 1972 it signed an agreement with Europe and waited for the trade to follow. The trade never came, because nothing had been built to carry it. Now Europe is offering Canada a seat as its first associate member, the world's largest investors have flown to Toronto, and the tax code has been rewritten to pay for what 1972 never built. Whether it works this time comes down to one thing. It is not the agreement. • The Truth About Why Countries Are Pulling Their Gold From America
    Sep 14 2026
This year, two of America's oldest allies quietly took their gold out of the United States. France went first and emptied its New York holdings entirely. The Netherlands went second, moving 86 tonnes. Both governments gave the same answer: it's not you, it's me. Paris said the bars were old. Amsterdam said it wanted to be ready for a crisis. Both made a point of adding that the move was not political. Governments do not describe a technical upgrade as "not political" unless somebody has asked the question. Roughly 215 tonnes left American custody this year, and only 27 of them ever went anywhere. The rest changed hands without a single vault door opening. That detail is the whole story, and it explains why no finance minister on earth will say the real reason out loud. Learn to invest alongside the top minds in commodities. • America Says Hormuz Won’t Matter in 2 Years. Here’s the Problem.
    Aug 31 2026
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just predicted that the most important oil chokepoint on Earth will stop mattering within two years: the Strait of Hormuz, he said, is about to become just another body of water. Washington's top diplomat is saying the same thing. The plan sounds simple enough: build pipelines around Iran, and the strait that carries a fifth of the world's oil loses its grip on the global economy. The pipelines that exist today move a fraction of what passes through Hormuz in a single day, and the routes meant to close the gap all share one feature nobody in Washington is talking about. They have to come out somewhere. What waits at the other end is the problem. Learn to invest alongside the top minds in commodities. Join The Commodity University today.
