  • S2: Episode 6 - Perseverance, Breakthroughs and Navigating Change with Slindokuhle Mtolo
    Sep 1 2022

Despite our total devotion and dedication to living a life that glorifies God and serving Him with every facet of our lives, we are not exempt from facing challenges, experiencing uncertainty and losing hope from time to time during our journey.

There are times when absolutely nothing makes sense and life still makes a daily demand on our minds, our energy and our efforts. So, how do we navigate seasons of change and uncertainty? How do we show up when we are left bruised and battered by the battles we face privately and how do we maintain a position of surrender to God even when we don't understand?

In this episode, I speak to wife, mother and woman in ministry, Slindokuhle Mtolo about persevering in the midst of trials, trusting God even when it hurts and being a season where she is finally able to make sense of her journey and how God is calling her to manoeuvre it.

She reminds us live life authentically and with transparency on where we are, to make use of and lean on the support of the community of people we have in our lives during times of difficulty and to "trust the God of the process" on our individual journeys. She also emphasizes that we are to turn to God even in our darkest hour because He is worth waiting on and that He will fulfil every promise He has made to us in due season!

Slindo shares her go-to song of Praise that encourages her in the Lord, Mbonge by We Will Worship [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUMetP_dca0]. We hope that this song encourages you and helps to build up your faith in the Lord through whatever circumstances you may be facing.

Thank you for tuning into the episode. I hope it makes a real impact in your life. Have an amazing day and a restful weekend and remember to go with God.

I love you, and most importantly, God loves you!

  • S2: Episode 5 - Operating Outside of Your Comfort Zone
    Aug 19 2022

Life has a tendency of intrusively jostling us this and that way and interrupting whatever sense of tranquillity that we’ve been able to create and maintain in our lives.

Lately I’ve realized, however, that life is designed to interrupt; and I’d even take it a beat further to say that the constant disturbances we encounter are a big part of what life is about and learning how to maintain stability within ourselves through the Peace of God, amidst the turbulences of this reality, is a not only necessary to cope through the hustle and bustle of daily life but could be the very definer of the quality of the lives we live.

We have not been created to merely exist within the bubble of our own comfort, but we are called to live a life worthy of the call that God has placed upon us. To make a great impact in the earth, to lead purpose-driven lives and to fulfil the great commission; making disciples of all nations.

Outside of our comfort zone is where real life is taking place. Where ideas form, creativity takes shape, knowledge and wisdom are established, growth happens and finally stepping into who we are with every passing season and walking in the evolution of ourselves becomes a reality.

It is scary to open and expose oneself to the unexpected and spontaneous whirlwind that we call life, but it is beautiful and truly humbling to allow ourselves to live deeply and in the genuineness of who we are and giving our roots permission to spread outside of ourselves

So, we have one of two choices; we can either choose to be the kinds of people who close themselves up in fear of being seen and noticed, or we can be the kinds of folks who boldly step out into the world with the drive to not only show up as ourselves, but to represent Christ in every sphere and experience living a life of glorious purpose and the abundant blessings of God that come with it.

  • S2: Episode 4 - The Journey Makes The Destination | Promise Series
    Mar 25 2022
When we step into a season where what we once believed God for is assured to us, we need to pay attention to our posture during the journey of being processed and equipped to handle the promise. We also need to begin understanding that the destination where we finally step into the promise is not a place that we arrive to, but a constant state of being. The process leading up to the promise is a vital part of the promise and how we respond to this process will determine whether we live in the fulfilment of what God said or whether we forfeit the promise. So we can either embrace the process for the promise or let it go because we weren’t willing to stay the course. As you think about what God has promised to you and as you find yourself on this journey of being stretched and moulded in order for your life to have the capacity to hold what God has promised, understand that your response- your posture, during this journey will determine how you will experience the promise. How you will arrive to it, if ever you do arrive. And remember, even as you experience the manifestation of what you believed God for, that He is the source of it and that He is the only one who has the power to give. If He tests you just like how He tested Abraham, don’t be afraid to offer the promise back to Him as a sacrifice and a sign of your surrender and obedience. You can trust Him, not only with the things that come from His hand, but with how He will equip you to properly nurture the promise. I hope that you found this episode beneficial and that it makes a real difference in your life. I love you, and most importantly, GOD LOVES YOU! __________________________ SCRIPTURES: Abram believed God’s promise to him. (Genesis 15:1-6) Warning against unbelief. In as much as we are all called to work, the work that we dedicate our lives to may be fruitless if do not show up faithfully. Being faithful means that we carry ourselves with high integrity and that we are obedient to the standard in which we carry out the assignments which God has prepared for us. Being faithful is working with diligence, showing up with humility and not compromising the call upon our lives, even if that costs us having to losing the things and people that were once important to us. • S2: Episode 1 - A Call To Work
    Feb 18 2022

Regardless of the backgrounds we come from, our experience and expertise, the availability of resources or lack thereof, our circumstances, our roles and positions, our positions in our faith journey or whether or not we know certain people, as children of God we are called to do the work of the Kingdom of God.

In our respective carer fields, communities, families and social groups, all of us are tasked with work wherever God places us. The work which we are required to do may not look the same for everyone, but according to our level of faith, diligence and obedience, God helps us to carry out every assignment placed on our lives for His glory.

So as we go into this season, as we’ve firmly made our way into a new year, take a moment to be still and listen to where God is calling you and what He is calling you to do.

Know that whatever that is required of you will not come out of you by your own wisdom and strength, but that of the Lord because you do not go in your own capacity but that of Christ Jesus.

Trust Him. No that there is provision in assignment. Lean on Him to get you there, and may your heal be at peace as you rest in the awareness that it is an honour and a blessed earned to us by faith that we can be servants of the most high God.

  • Episode 21 - Repetitive Sin: Falling and Rising Up Again [End of Season One]
    Sep 7 2021

As Believers, we are not immune to falling into and contributing to cycles of destruction in our lives. We, too, can find ourselves having drifted away from the safety of the Father and wrapped up in cultivating a life outside of His leadership and Lordship.

Repetitive sin is a reality known to most and can be one of those struggles in life that can feel debilitating and almost impossible to escape. It can leave us in a state of hopelessness and condemn us to the point of feeling as though we are too stained to present ourselves to God.

Nothing has ever been a bigger lie.

God loves us enough to see our messiness and still embrace us. God wants to help us through the cycles, and more so, discover the roots of the repetitive sin that keeps emerging on our paths and keeps us bound to our own passions.

In this episode, we take a look at how even though we stumble, God helps us to rise up with even more determination and He gives us insight and wisdom on the things to ought to pursue in order to find our feet again.

Be encouraged that no matter how deep within the cycle you may find yourself, and no matter how inescapable it may feel, there is hope in Christ Jesus and you will make it out. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Here are two songs for you to enjoy by Brian Courtney Wilson titled Our Father Is Kind [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeKapJK8bso] and Worth Fighting For [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20FWEifWDkw].

We hope that you found this episode beneficial and that it makes a real difference in your life.

Thank you for an incredible season! We hope to have you again in Season 2 soon.

We love you, and most importantly, GOD LOVES YOU!
