A very interesting and fairy balanced podcast. A little clunky in terms of editing on some of the episodes - but the overall content was extremely engaging and enlightening. Important that this kind of journalism is encouraged due to the declining trust in Legacy Media due to increasing institutional bias and resulting Cancel Culture.

Freedom of speech and polite debate returns

This series gives an engaging and thoughtful look into the ideas of cancel culture and considers how fear is deterring those with valid arguments from raising questions about what some believe are subjects that are not up for discussion. I’m not a Harry Potter fan and before this I wasn’t aware of the intricacies of what J K Rowling had said - but it’s clear both sides of this dispute have valid points. JKR is clearly well versed on this matter, has arguable concerns and is willing to debate. That someone should receive such threats for voicing an opinion is demonstrably a very concerning moment in our history.

Thought provoking

Very well put together and hearing first hand what JK Rowling was about and not just Chinese whispers of hate
So many people have taken thing out of context and are afraid to lose face by admitting what they heard was wrong

Great series

A series that highlights the dangers of groupthink, authoritarianism and misogyny. Really interesting to hear Rowling's perspective of being attacked from religious Christian fundamentalists and left-wing zealots.

Eye opening podcast

J.K.’s background story is illuminating, and proves that it’s hard to hate someone whose story you know. I wish more journalists did pieces with such depth around polarising figures and issues in society.
