Elf Lyons, Queen of Edinburgh, returns to the show 8 years and 252 episodes later as we dig into the award winning show, The Woman on the Edge which combines the best of comedy, theatre, and performance art. We discuss:

• what happens the moment people start saying your work is good
• the post-Fringe comedown and why it feels like a break-up
• how her family taught her not to accept failure
• the need to debate why something is funny
• why all clowns should do stand-up first
• how we get agency from turning what hurts into art
• and we find out if Elf is happy…
