i can't listen to the calm app as it has wierd backgrounds, crickets etc , but i found this 'Sound bath' background noise excellent. the gentle scraping and high tones really work for me on this. the guidance is wonderful and it NEVER fails to get me to sleep. it has been a real blessing for me, i really struggle to sleep in general and i lost a loved one recently and i just didnt know how i was going to shut my mind off enough to sleep those first few days when it felt like my heart was being ripped out, this helped me so much.
