In this episode of The Outside Line Podcast, British enduro rider and Roadskin founder Ian Wilson has etched his name into motorsport history, becoming the first person ever to officially complete the Red Bull Romaniacs hard enduro rally aboard a Ducati motorcycle. Competing under race number 1203 at 65 years of age, Wilson piloted the Ducati DesertX Rally through four gruelling days and 650 kilometres of brutal mountain terrain in Romania's Carpathian Mountains, crossing the finish line in Sibiu to seal a truly historic achievement in the Adventure Lite class. Wilson competed in the newly introduced Adventure Lite class, a category designed to open the rally to a wider range of riders and machines. His finish not only marks a personal milestone but also highlights the expanding off-road capabilities of Ducati's adventure range in some of the most extreme racing conditions on earth. The boys then turn their attention to the latest British Superbike Championship action from Thruxton, where the racing delivered plenty of thrills and drama as usual!
