Summary
Surrendered Strength is a podcast for Christian men who want to build a strong body without losing their soul—and deepen their faith without going soft. This show lives at the intersection of fitness, faith, and surrender, where discipline meets dependence on God. Each episode tackles real conversations about strength training, mental toughness, leadership, and spiritual formation, all through a biblical lens. We talk about what it means to train hard, live with purpose, and surrender control—not as weakness, but as the pathway to true strength. This podcast is for men who are tired of shallow motivation and want lasting transformation. Men who understand that the strongest life isn't built on self-reliance alone, but on obedience, humility, and trust in Christ. Build your body. Sharpen your mind. Surrender your will. Because real strength starts on your knees. 💪✝️ Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." • Are You Willing to Hear and Accept the Truth?
    Oct 20 2026

Men, are you willing to hear the truth, even when it's uncomfortable? And are you willing to hold yourself and your brothers accountable to God's standards?

We live in a world where accountability is becoming increasingly rare. Standards are being compromised, truth is being avoided, and too many men are living without the discipline and direction God has called them to.

In this episode of the Surrendered Strength Podcast, we continue exploring the core values of a Strong Disciple through Matthew 18:15–17, focusing on truth, accountability, and the importance of biblical brotherhood.

Jesus teaches us that accountability isn't about condemnation or tearing someone down. It's about restoration, love, and helping a brother return to the truth.

    But accountability starts with us.

Before we can lead our families, challenge our brothers, or influence the world around us, we must first be willing to examine our own lives and accept correction.

We also explore how our identity in Christ establishes our purpose, our purpose gives us a mission, and our mission requires discipline. Without accountability, that discipline begins to fall apart.

True freedom isn't the ability to do whatever we want. It's the ability to live out the purpose God created us for.

Men, we weren't created to walk through life alone. We need brothers willing to speak truth into our lives, challenge us when we fall short, and encourage us to become the men God has called us to be.

The challenge: Are you holding yourself accountable? Are you willing to be corrected? And are you willing to love another man enough to tell him the truth?

  • The One Is Worth Getting Uncomfortable For
    Oct 9 2026

Are you willing to get uncomfortable to show someone the unconditional love of Jesus Christ?
In Matthew 18:10–14, Jesus shares the parable of the lost sheep. The shepherd leaves the 99 to pursue the one who has gone astray. This is a powerful example of God's unconditional love and a core value every Strong Disciple should strive to imitate.
In this episode of the Surrendered Strength Podcast, we continue exploring the core values of a Strong Disciple, focusing on unconditional love, obedience, and the willingness to step outside our comfort zones.
I share a recent personal experience of feeling called by the Holy Spirit to speak up, but allowing fear and the opinions of others to hold me back. It was a reminder that following Jesus isn't about staying comfortable. It's about being obedient, even when we don't understand the outcome.
As men, we often measure the significance of our actions by the results we can see. But what if that small act of obedience, that uncomfortable conversation, or that simple expression of love could change someone's life?
Just as we train our bodies to endure discomfort and grow stronger, we must be willing to stretch ourselves spiritually.
The question isn't whether following Jesus will make you uncomfortable. The question is whether you're willing to get uncomfortable for the one who needs His love.
You may never know the impact of your obedience, but that doesn't make it insignificant.
Commit. Trust. Let God. — Psalm 37:5
Join the Strong Disciples Brotherhood and discover how faith, fitness, discipline, and brotherhood can help you become the man God has called you to be.

  • The Strength of Humility
    Sep 29 2026

Humility — A Core Value of a Strong Disciple

The world often teaches men that strength means being first, being recognized, being right, and proving ourselves. Jesus teaches something radically different.

In Matthew 18:1–5, the disciples ask Jesus who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Instead of pointing to the strongest, most accomplished, or most influential person, Jesus brings a child into their midst. He tells them that they must humble themselves like a child.

That is the kind of strength we want to build through Strong Disciples.

    A Strong Disciple is humble.

Humility isn't weakness. It is having the strength to stop making everything about ourselves. It's being willing to learn, willing to serve, willing to admit when we're wrong, and willing to put God's will above our own.

A humble man doesn't need to prove that he's the strongest man in the room. He recognizes where his strength comes from.

    Humility allows us to surrender.

Humility allows us to be corrected.

Humility allows us to serve without recognition.

Humility allows us to put our wives, children, brothers, and neighbors ahead of ourselves.

Most importantly, humility reminds us that Jesus is the King—we are His disciples.

Strong Disciples aren't men trying to build their own kingdoms. We are men surrendering ourselves to God so He can use our strength to build His.

    Core Value: HUMILITY
We don't seek to be greater than others. We seek to become more like Jesus.

Matthew 18:4: "Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
