    Fil has never thought much about his grandmother. Sure, she's bright orange and unusually large, but the woman is no more than a face from an old photograph or two. Then she appears on his doorstep. Fil's mother turns into a different person overnight, and something in the air changes for the worse. You never know what's lurking in your genes…
