As a sophomore, she began sharing her story of overcoming depression and anxiety while playing college volleyball at USC. That TEDx Talk has been viewed more than 600,000 times and helped spark discussion about mental health in athletes. As May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Victoria joins host Serving Pancakes host Tiffany Oshinsky to talk about her experiences with mental health and volleyball, why she didn’t quit when she was at her lowest, and what athletes can do to set themselves up for mental health success in club/high school volleyball, college and beyond.
