  • Season 4 Ep. 3 | From Deconstruction to Wholeness w/ Luke Bricker
    Jun 27 2026
n Season 4, Episode 3 of Safe Space with Jaxon, I sit down with filmmaker, photographer, spiritual director, and founder of Current Collective, Luke Bricker. Luke's story is one that many of us can relate to. Raised in the church and serving in pastoral ministry from a young age, he eventually found himself questioning many of the beliefs and assumptions he had inherited. What followed wasn't the loss of faith, but the beginning of a deeper journey—one that led him toward healing, contemplation, wholeness, and a renewed understanding of the way of Jesus. In this conversation, we explore Luke's journey before Current Collective, the challenges and gifts of deconstruction, why reconstruction often gets overlooked, what true healing looks like, and how people can reconnect with themselves, with God, and with the present moment. We also close with a simple but powerful question: Who is Jesus to Luke Bricker today? Whether you're deconstructing, reconstructing, spiritually curious, or simply searching for a faith that feels honest and life-giving, this conversation offers wisdom, compassion, and hope. 🎙️ Safe Space with Jaxon is powered by Quoircast. 📖 Jaxon's book Only Us is available now on Amazon in Paperback, Kindle, and Audible editions. • Season 4 Ep 2: The Life America Forgot — Remembering Kohen Wiley
    Jun 19 2026
In this deeply personal episode, Jaxon steps away from theory, theology, and politics to speak from a place that is far more vulnerable: fatherhood. Following the tragic death of one-year-old Kohen Wiley at the hands of Mississippi law enforcement, Jaxon reflects on a story that should have shaken the conscience of the nation but instead received only a fraction of the attention it deserved. As a new father himself, he wrestles with the grief, anger, and heartbreak that emerge when a child loses their life and the public quickly moves on. This episode is not about political talking points. It is about humanity. It is about the value of a child's life. It is about asking difficult questions regarding race, justice, accountability, and why some tragedies seem to demand national outrage while others fade into silence. Through personal reflection and social commentary, Jaxon explores what Kohen's death reveals about America, our collective priorities, and the work that remains if we truly believe every child deserves protection, dignity, and the chance to grow up. This conversation may be uncomfortable. It may challenge long-held assumptions. But some stories deserve more than a passing headline. Some stories deserve our attention. Some children deserve to be remembered. Today, we remember Kohen Wiley. Jaxon's debut book, Only Us, is available now on Amazon in paperback, Kindle, and Audible formats. • Season 4 Ep 1: The Death of Apologetics
    Jun 12 2026
What if the strongest argument for God isn't an argument at all? In the Season 4 premiere of Safe Space with Jaxon, I reflect on becoming a father and how witnessing the birth of my son changed the way I think about faith, certainty, and belief. For years, I listened to sermons, debates, apologetics, and competing claims about God. Yet none of them impacted me the way holding my child for the first time did. This isn't an episode about proving God. It's about wonder. It's about reaching a place where your beliefs no longer require validation from a religious tribe, a theologian, or an online debate. It's about recognizing that truth doesn't need endless defense, and that personal experience can sometimes speak louder than the most polished argument. I also explore why I can still identify as a Christian while disagreeing with much of modern Christianity, and why I believe the fruit of the Spirit has no denomination, political party, or social club attached to it. Love is love. Kindness is kindness. Compassion is compassion. It's either bearing good fruit or it isn't. Join me for a conversation about fatherhood, faith, freedom, and the miracle of life. 🎙️ Safe Space with Jaxon 📚 Author of Only Us 🎧 Available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music #SafeSpaceWithJaxon #DeathOfApologetics #FaithAfterFatherhood #ChristianHumanist #Spirituality #Fatherhood #OnlyUs #Podcast #Deconstruction #WonderOverCertainty Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. • Season 3 Ep 6 Van Life & Freedom From Propaganda” (w/ Caitlin Pyle)
    May 29 2026
What happens when the life you were taught to trust… starts to unravel? In this episode of Safe Space w/ Jaxon, I sit down with Caitlin Pyle—known to many as The Cait Awakening—a certified coach helping people navigate religious deconstruction and reclaim their identity beyond high-control belief systems. With a growing audience of over 214K on TikTok and 246K on Instagram, Caitlin has become a voice for those questioning everything they once held as absolute truth. We start with her transition into van life—what it meant to walk away from structure, certainty, and comfort—and what freedom looks like on the other side. From there, we go deeper. We unpack the early foundations of Christianity, including the Council of Nicaea, and explore how doctrine was shaped through both spiritual conviction and political influence. We also wrestle with bigger questions: Why does Paul hold so much authority in modern Christianity? What does it mean to build theology from an experience we can’t verify? And how much of what we believe today is rooted in truth… versus tradition? This conversation isn’t about tearing anything down—it’s about creating space to question, to feel, and to rediscover what’s real for yourself. If you’ve ever felt the tension between what you were taught and what you’re beginning to see… This episode is for you. 🎙️ Safe Space w/ Jaxon 📘 Only Us by Jaxon Phoenix — Available now on Amazon (Kindle, Paperback, Audible) 📲 Follow Jaxon: @jaxonphoenix88 📲 Follow Caitlin: @thecaitawakening Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. • Season 3 Ep 5 "Noahide Path" interview with Tassja Cadoch & Jaye Naomi
    May 22 2026
In this episode of Safe Space w/ Jaxon, we sit down with Tassja Cadoch and Jaye Naomi following their viral appearance on the Dr. Daf Show, which has reached over 200,000 views on YouTube. Rather than revisiting the debate, this conversation goes deeper. We explore what it was like for them sharing that platform together, how they navigated the dialogue in real time, and what they believe was misunderstood about the perspective they brought. Jaye also opens up about her personal journey into Judaism—what led her to step away from Christianity, the questions she could no longer ignore, and the moment everything began to shift. We also break down the Noahide path—what it is, what it isn’t, and how it’s often misunderstood. More importantly, this episode challenges the tension between Judaism and Christianity, asking a bigger question: Is it possible to move beyond division and begin building from what we actually share? This is a conversation rooted in honesty, reflection, and understanding. — This episode is for you. 🎙️ Safe Space w/ Jaxon 📘 Only Us by Jaxon Phoenix — Available now on Amazon (Kindle, Paperback, Audible) 📲 Follow Jaxon: @jaxonphoenix88 Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. • (Season 3 Ep 4): Creative Flow — Interview w/ Mattie Jo Cowsert
    May 15 2026

What happens when the creativity finally flows… but now you have to share it?

In this episode of Safe Space w/ Jaxon, I sit down with my friend and fellow Quoir author, Mattie Jo Cowsert, for a real and unfiltered conversation on the creative process—what it feels like to be in flow, and what it takes to keep going once the work is out in the world.

We unpack the tension between creating and promoting, staying authentic while marketing yourself, and the emotional reality of delayed results. We also get honest about something many creators experience but rarely talk about—the unexpected support from strangers, and the silence from those closest to us.

Mattie Jo is the author of God, Sex, and Rich People: A Recovering Evangelical Testimony, where she shares her journey of unraveling faith, identity, and everything she was taught to believe—through honesty, humor, and lived experience.

This isn’t just about creativity… it’s about courage.
Showing up. Speaking your truth. And continuing to create—even when it feels like no one is listening.

    Tap in.

  • (Season 3 Ep. 3): Second Axial Age — Interview w/ Jonathan Foster and Rev. Dr. Shaleen Kendrick
    May 8 2026

What if the way we experience God… isn’t just theological—but neurological?

In this episode of Safe Space w/ Jaxon, we dive into the concept of the Second Axial Age—a shift in human consciousness that challenges traditional frameworks of faith and invites a more integrated, embodied, and relational understanding of spirituality.

Jaxon is joined by Jonathan Foster, theologian, author, and co-founder of The Curian Network, and Rev. Dr. Shaleen Kendrick, an Open and Relational neurotheologian and creator of the Neuro-Relational Integration Model.

    Together, they explore:

    • The difference between the First and Second Axial Ages
    • How institutions shaped belief—and where they fall short today
    • The rise of neurospirituality and what it reveals about human experience
    • The role of consciousness, connection, and embodiment in modern faith
    • Why spirituality may be evolving beyond doctrine into lived awareness

This isn’t a conversation about abandoning faith—
    it’s about expanding it.

Whether you’re deconstructing, reconstructing, or simply questioning… this episode invites you to consider:

👉 What if belief was never the destination—but the starting point?
