Such a sweet heart warming story, that mobilise all senses. It helps me get out of the rumination that prevents me from sleeping and gets me almost every time.

I have great trouble falling asleep and this story calms me down. It's got such a homely, comforting vibe about it. It makes you feel cozy and warm and content. The narration is superb. The tone even, and no shocks to jolt you to alertness when you start drifting.
The story is bland - but brilliant too, as it works! I love food, so listening to a story about cooking a stew puts me in a happy place. I have downloaded the bedtime stories series but have not got past listening to this as I like it so much ::-D - No doubt I will try the others eventually,

I like how it tries to sneakily pepper in the meditation bit by having the character do the breathing exercises and stuff as part of the story. I wasn't prepared for it and thought it was just kinda funny at first, but it turned out to acrually help me as it made me aware of tensions I did not think I had at the time.

Great for Sleeping

I have a lot of troubel sleeping, but this was
Interesting enough to keep my thoughts occupied but boring and uneventfull enough to allow sleep.
Throughout the story, the main character brought attention to her breath as she remembered to slow it. It made me aware of my own breathing, and I think it was a very elegant way to combine meditation and storytelling.

The perfect middel way
