He is the guy in charge of Wagoner archery range and they have a very special event happening this SATURDAY only, July 18, 2026 from 8-12 trickle Start. The Jerry Cole Memorial is a great 3D shoot that always has a great turnout. Jerry was a game ranger in Oklahoma and loved to bowhunt. This year is the 27th annual memorial tournament in his honor. Mike Tallent and Dustin Leader are 2 more Oklahoma ASA Shooters that came away from Muddy Metropolis standing on top of the winners' podium. We sit down to discuss how to judge yardage and prepare for shooting in inclement weather with two of the best guys around. Mike is a shooter for Choctaw Archery and discusses his weekend overcoming adversity (triple nickels on day #2) and his Elite Victra setup. Mike shoots in the Senior Open class and they are one of the best groups of guys to share a stake with.

Rick Gilley is the Metropolis champion in the Sr. Legends division. We sit down with Rick to discuss the shooting conditions for a tournament that many will not soon forget. With rain in the forecast we talk about how to plan for success in less than ideal conditions. Rick is an accomplished archer across several styles of archery and has competed at the highest level for several years.
