After last week's embarrassment, SmackDown tries to get back on track heading into Clash In Italy but do they?

Gunther continues to toy with Cody Rhodes after being given a brand new contract for Friday Night SmackDown and a WWE Championship match but he refuses to sign the actual contract. Now, he must wrestle for the right to wrestle Cody Rhodes, and Gunther goes one on one with Royce Keys.

Also, Trick Williams receives a "homecoming" in his hometown of South Carolina but is interrupted by The Miz as he looks to get back on track after his loss to Danhausen at Backlash.

And, Carmelo Hayes returns looking to get back into the WWE United States Championship Title picture as he goes one on one with Ricky Saints.

AEW might have a new sheriff in town, and with AEW Double or Nothing happening in NY, it could happen very soon.

Mick Foley, the WWE Hall of Famer is rumored to land with AEW in some sort of role heading into Double or Nothing next Sunday night. Mick Foley has talked about one more match but at 60 years that is looking less likely. What type of role could Mick Foley provided AEW, and could it lead him to being an on air authority figure to give AEW a brand new dynamic?

Vince McMahon's attorney defends him deleting texts messages that could have been used as evidence against him, while Nick Khan testifies in court about what he knew of Vince McMahon's "escapades"...Kevin Nash goes to bat BIG TIME for his buddy Triple H, blast TKO for getting involved in his creative. Major updates on The New Day after leaving WWE, and Asuka after she had what could be her final match in WWE at Backlash.
