Nashville Unplugged, the brainchild of Aaron Benward and Brian McComas is the only show that brings hit songwriters and live audiences together for a night of storytelling and live entertainment. The show is not only a time for the songwriters to perform the hits they authored, but also an opportunity for them to give the audience a behind-the-scenes look at the emotions and experiences that inspired the music and how a song finds its way to the top of the charts. Our first installment features performances from Multi Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, Paul Overstreet, as well as Grammy winning songwriter, Danny Myrick. Overstreet has written and co-written 29 top-10 songs for Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Blake Shelton, Marie Osmond, and Glen Campbell, among others. As the bass player of his family’s gospel band, Myrick recorded his first album at the age of seven and has since established himself as one of country music’s top songwriters, writing for artists including Tim McGraw, Big and Rich and Jason Aldean.
