Rebekka Louise is a fantastic songwriter, hailing from Norway, who is currently based in London. Rebekka's individual sound make her hard to categorise, allowing her to stretch out across multiple genres. In 2024, Rebekka released her debut album, Shame Is An Old Friend. This is a brilliant and complete piece of work that really illustrates her talent for producing incredible music. Dan speaks to Rebekka about her musical upbringing in Norway, her writing process and delves deeper into some of his favourite tracks from her. This is not one to miss.

Welcome to Music Fishbowl - Music chatter for all! Dan is back with a one-off episode during his short hiatus at the start of 2026, bringing with him another incredible guest... Elles Bailey!

Elles Bailey is recognised globally as a rootsy Americana blues rock artist and she has been going from strength to strength since the mid-2010s. The Bristol born singer-songwriter has become known for her incredible raspy vocals. 2024 album astounded critics and reached number twelve in the UK album charts. Dan caught up with Elles after she had finished recording her new record, Can't Take My Story Away, as everyone anticipates it's release in January - which was last Friday! Dan chats to Elles about her career up until now, her dedication to live performing and the themes behind the new record. This is not one to miss!
