A zombie, a teacher and a sheep walk into a bar...

This week Alfie reviews his most anticipated film of the year, Zach Cregger's Resident Evil! Is this a hat-trick for Cregger and his directorial run, or is the curse of video game adaptations prevalent here? *flash backs to Assasins Creed*

Adam reviews dark comedy and riot of a film, Bad Apples, starring lady of the moment Saoirse Ronan. As well as the newest feature from Ardman Animation, Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom. The lads also get serious about rating Ardman pictures.

Friend of the show, and secret 3rd member of the podcast, Josh Brooker gets in touch to talk about Heart of the Beast the newest Brad Pitt flick.

It's that time of year, no not the build up to Christmas! The BFI London Film Festival of course! The date is fast approaching and the Movie On Up boys got the chance to interview the BFI London Film Festivals Film Programmer Isabel Moir.

Isabel reflects on her early cinematic influences, genres she loves and key formative films through her life before and during working for the film festival. We also talk about her role within the LFF and what her job entails on a day to day basis. We also discuss what Isabel recommends keeping your eyes peeled for at the 2026 BFI London Film Festival this year - so take note!

A huge thank you to Isabel Moir for taking the time to talk to us, as well as Selina and the rest of the team at the BFI London Film Festival for making the interview possible. Adam and Alfie are up to their knees in content this episode! It all begins with BREAKING James Bond news and a rant about 'Minority Report'. Then there are reviews for 'One Night Only', 'The Dog Stars', James Mansell's 'Leviathan' and 'Camp Miasma'... Careful with the SEO of that last one - yikes!

Then stick around for a cracking E.T. impression and a brilliantly geeky game called Movie Cast.

We’re hitting the end of summer dump month, but so we have some diamonds in the rough.

This week the boys review 3 flicks for your listening pleasure. Alfie heads back into The Further to talk about the 6th entry in the Insidious franchise, INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER. Does it reinvent the wheel, or is this franchise starting to feel a little haunted?

Out resident Looney Tunes fan reviews the long anticipated Coyote Vs Acme. After years of being in the Warner Bros Vault the film is finally out, but is the studio struggle behind the film more interesting than the film itself?

Finally Adam reviews Sunny Dancer, a touching coming of age story focused on cancer survivors. Is it this years I Swear? We all love a British film to pull on your heart strings.

In episode 112 of Movie On Up, Adam reviews a quirky dinosaur film called 'The End of Oak Street' and Alfie describes some of the wildest moments in the new, brutal horror, 'Evil Dead Burn'.

If you enjoy what the lads do on MOU, please do share the podcast with your friends and family and get in touch! Let us know what you've been watching - maybe something underrated or a stinker we should all avoid! We want to hear from you!
